Lahsun (Garlic ) ki chutney rajasthani style

Today I am going to share Lehsun ki chutney,  it is usually eaten with bajre ki roti in Rajasthan.





Ingredients :
  • 8-10 big garlic cloves - peeled
  • 6-8 Fresh red chili
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • ½ teaspoon mustard seeds
  • ½ teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 2 tablespoon mustard oil
  • salt to taste
Blend all the ingredients (except mustard, cumin seeds and mustard oil) in a mixer to smooth paste
In a pan heat ½ teaspoon cumin and mustard seeds, add above paste and sauté it till it changes colour to light brown. It will take about  8-10 mins to make it.
Serve with Bajra Roti and enjoy..

  • Unsettled Stomach with diarrhoea: crush 3 cloves, add 1 spoon of honey, stir in 3 tablespoons of warmed milk and sweeten.

  • Mouth Ulcers: dip a freshly peeled garlic clove into curd (yoghurt) and apply.

  • Cold Sores: a tiny drop of garlic juice squeezed on to a cold sore can help to get rid of it

Achari Bhindi

Today I am sharing a very quick recipe which you all will enjoy-

Indegredients-

  • 250 gms bhindi
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
  • 2 tablespoons ground corn meal flour
  • 3 tablespoons Vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
Cut the round end off each piece of Bhindi and slice lengthwise into 4 thin slices and spread on a tray. In a bowl mix together ground corn meal, salt, chili powder, garam masala. Sprinkle mixture on bhindi slices and toss gently so that bhindi pieces are evenly coated. Divide into 4 batches.
Heat oil in a no-stick frying pan on medium-high heat. Fry each portion of bhindi pieces, ensuring the slices don’t stick to each other. Remove from pan to a plate when they are crispy and cooked.
Repeat with the remaining batch. Add a little more vegetable oil as needed.
Once all the batches are done, toss with more salt and garam masala before serving.

Gulab Jamun Ice-Cream




This is very simple recipe and awesome in taste, you just need two ingredients. Gulab Jamuns are something we all Indians love as a dessert. They are liked in every season and served for any good reason.

  Ingredients:

  1. Gulab jamuns- 2
  2. Vanilla ice cream - 1 scoop
  3. Chopped Almonds, Pistachio - 1 teaspoon
  4. Cardamom powder- a pinch



Put two hot Gulab Jamuns in a serving cup, now put a scoop of Vanilla ice-cream over it. Garnish with Chopped Almonds, Pistachio and Cardamon Powder.
Serve before ice cream melts. Enjoyyy!!!
